Prior to administration warm and shake bottle
1 to 2 drops applied topically to granulation tissue Q12H for 3 to 6 days
If the first course is unsuccessful is removing the granulation tissue a second course can be ordered
For treatment of acute otitis externa (>/=1 year) and acute otitis media with otorrhea in patients (>/=6 months) with tympanostomy tubes due to S. aureus, S. pneumoniae, H. influenzae, M. catarrhalis, or P. aeruginosa.
Topical/Otic Drops: Supplied as 7.5 mL bottle containing Ciprofloxacin 0.3% and Dexamethasone 0.1%
Unlike other available antibiotic ear drops, ciprofloxacin-dexamethasone carries no risk of ototoxicity and may be used safely in cases of tympanic perforation or tympanostomy tubes
